Measure
Drunkenness: lifetime
Experiencing drunkenness, particularly at a young age, is associated with an increased risk for alcohol-related injuries, risky sexual behaviour, and long-term health problems. This measure examines the prevalence of multiple episodes of drunkenness, highlighting the proportion of adolescents who have been drunk more than once. Understanding the factors contributing to repeated drunkenness can help develop targeted interventions to reduce the frequency and negative consequences of excessive alcohol use.
